Congratulations on your student’s decision to enroll at Rivier University this fall! On behalf of the University, we would like to welcome you to our community and family.

Welcome also to the Rivier University Parent Association! Parents of Riv students become lifetime Parent Association members upon their student’s enrollment. Parents of our students enjoy a close relationship with the University and we hope that you will take an active interest in Rivier during the coming years.

If you would like to become more involved with the Parent Association, please complete the attached questionnaire to indicate your interest level. We have volunteer opportunities that will work for all levels and all schedules.

Parent Ambassadors, with representatives from all class years, helps to lead the Association. Parent Ambassadors provide parents a way to meet, share ideas, stay in touch with what is happening on campus, and to make a meaningful contribution to the work of the University.

In addition to the above, the Parent Association sponsors programs throughout the year. Past programs have included hosting a barbeque for all new parents during summer orientation, working with the Alumni Association on a variety of initiatives, and many more events on and off campus.

We welcome any and all ideas from parents on how they would like to be a part of the Rivier University community. We hope you will consider volunteering for the Parent Association and we look forward to having your student with us in the fall.
